Being the son of the top flamenco guitarist Juan Martin, there was a strong latin music influence in his life from an early age. He first learnt to play the flamenco guitar at the age of five and still plays today. However, growing up in London Carlito was also subject to the influence of electronic and urban music. He was inspired by the rythmic intensity of dance music. From a young age Carlos went on tour with his father in the company of flamenco dancers such as Eva La Yerbabuena, Spain's number one flamenco dancer. Music has truly been an integral part of his life from day one. In 2006 Carlos joined Aspire radio to DJ for them on a weekly basis. Carlos has also played at venues around London including Hidden in Vauxhall, Lock 17, and ran his own night "Brock Out" at bar vinyl in Camden. He has also performed the flamenco guitar in such prestigous venues as the great hall of the Dartington college of music. His productions have a unique quality to them in the sense that few people have had the cultural influences of musical genres that he has been exposed to from an early age. His influences also stretch across genres such as jazz, soul, funk, hip hop, electronica and experimental artists. His current focus is on producing his own rythmic take on tech-house and techno!!
